Bunsa manufactures high carbon steel grit and steel shot (according standard SAE J444 - SAE J824 - SAE J1993) and has a ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System.
Steel abrasives can be produced in two shapes.
1. Round (Steel shot)
2. Angular (Steel grit)
Production system depends on melting, atomisation, crushing and heat treatment processes.
We have three main types of standart products:
1. Steel Shots
Steel shots are generally used for cleaning the metal surfaces. We have two kinds of standart shots.
2. Steel Grits
They have angular shapes and generally used for cleaning the metals' surfaces before painting or coating. For different applications we have different types of steel grits with different hardnesses
G Grits with 45-50 HRC hardness
GL Grits with 53-58 HRC hardness
GH Grits with 60-65 HRC hardness
GP Grit with 58-63 HRC hardness
S Shots with 40-45 HRC hardness for cleaning the metals' surfaces
Special S Shots with 50-55 HRC hardness for shot peening applications
3. Granite Cutting Mix
For granite cutting applications we have different special grit products with special hardnesses values, sieve analyses and shot contents. All of our granite cutting mixes have 64-67 HRC hardness values.
B-20 for new generation gansaws
B-18 for old generation gangsaws
Our standart packaging is 1 Ton pallets filled with 25kg plastic bags in a wrap around cartoon box.
We have three main types of standart products. Steel grits and steel shots can be used seperatly or mixed for different applications and be produced with special hardness values or special sieve analyses according to our customers' needs.
